Porn for Couples

POSTED ON: May 27 2011  •

Today I filmed a segment at CNN on The Dr. Drew Show about how watching porn can impact a relationship which will air Sunday night May 29th.

I believe porn can be used for educational and therapeutic purposes to help couples explore sexual fantasies, reduce inhibitions, avoid boredom in the bedroom and spice up their love lives.

As an AASECT certified sex counselor, I assess clients concerns and discuss with them their personal values and morals, their sexual experiences, fantasies, boundaries and deal breakers.

I’ve helped couples to negotiate the type of porn they can both enjoy watching such as female friendly porn produced by women like Veronica Hart, Candida Royal and Nikka Noel. These movies have story lines, romance, intimacy and lead to sexual activities.

I’ve introduced couples to Sex Education videos and I’m currently producing my own series of HOW TO videos with director Mike McCormick to be distributed by Evolved. There is a need for these videos because nobody teaches you how to be more creative and playful sexually. I believe that if you play together you will stay together.

It’s a fact that watching porn can increase sex drive and arousal by producing feel-good hormones such testosterone, and serotonin. In fact, porn has been used in clinical studies on genital arousal to help women with low libido and Anorgasmia (the inability to orgasm), proving that some women get just as aroused by watching porn as men.

Dr. Drew pointed out that porn can give young people unrealistic expectations and that porn can become addicted. These are both true, which is why we need to continue educating people about the difference between entertainment and reality as well as healthy and unhealthy sexuality.

Why Men Don’t Wear Condoms

POSTED ON: May 17 2011  •
CATEGORIES:  Better Sex

With so many different kinds of condoms to choose from like flavored, scented, ribbed, studded, edible, colored, lubed, tinglers, ticklers to celebrity picture condoms like Gene Simmons fully extended tongue running down the length of the condom, you’d think that there would be one to suit every man. But, still men complain that condoms disrupt the mood, make passion fade and deplete their erection.

When they do wear condoms they pout and say that the physical sensation is not as good as not wearing one.

You may be interested to know that men with very small or very large penises are more likely to avoid wearing condoms because they don’t fit comfortably. But they do come in different sizes: compact, regular and extra large.

Men will use any excuse not to use a condom if you let them, such as , “It’ spoils the mood”, “I’m too big” and my favorite is “If you really care about me, then you should trust me because you’re the only one.”

What is even more amazing is that cheating men don’t wear condoms. Learn from the mistakes of John Edwards and Arnold Schwarzenegger who both had affairs, got someone pregnant and destroyed their marriages.

Women need to insist on men wearing condoms, even if it means putting them on manually or with their mouth to protect themselves from STD’s and pregnancy.

Putting a condom on with your mouth can be a sexy experience and doesn’t have to slow down the mood. Here’s how to do it:

1. Select a special flavored condom from a preferred brand
2. Get your man excited so that his penis becomes hard
3. Be sure when opening the condom to be careful. Open it closest to the corners so that you won’t damage the condom itself
4. Once you have removed the condom from the package, turn the condom inside out, placing it in front of your teeth and behind your lips
5. Slip your tongue into the receptacle hole leaving room for when he ejaculates
6. Once you have the condom inverted in your mouth so that it will slide on correctly, push the condom onto the head with just your lips
7. Sucking gently on the receptacle to insure there is enough room for the semen, wrap your lips around the head of the penis rolling the condom down with your lips as you go towards the testes

This may be tricky the first few times so practice on a banana, cucumber dildo or your man.

Sex in the Sun

Having sex in the sun is a romantic fantasy that can be magical and memorable. Just imagine feeling the warmth from the sun beating down on your body, hearing the sound of the waves from the ocean, tasting the drops of sweat on your lips and seeing the soft sand caress your toes. Share this with your lover and you’ve got a perfect fantasy date.

Here are 10 tips to ensure that you have the best sex in the sun experience.

1. First, you’ll need plenty of sunscreen to put on all over your body parts that are going to be exposed to the sun. But, don’t put sunscreen on a penis if it’s going to be penetrated as it can give a woman a nasty vaginal infection.
2. Bring some big towels and a blanket so that you can cover up quickly should someone see you and so that you can clean up after having sex in the sun.
3. Wear comfortable baggy clothes so they can be easily maneuvered while having sex in the sun. Ladies should wear a loose fitting dress with no panties and guys should wear elastic wasted shorts with easy access from above and below.
4. Bring bottled water for washing off suntan oil that gets in your eyes or gritty sand that finds it’s way into your cracks and cranny’s.
5.You’ll need a bag to hide your used condoms and lubes.
6. Pack some finger food in a picnic basket since sex in the sun will give you an appetite.
7. Sandals or reef shoes will protect your feet them from the burning of hot sand, sharp shells and those nasty jellyfish.
8. A cooler filled with ice and drinks can also be a great prop for sex in the sun. You can sit on it while your lover goes down on you or bend over it for rear entry.
9. Find a semi private spot with some covering by dunes, rocks or trees where you can have sex in the sun discreetly.
10. Do it in the ocean, but look out for sharks and that includes the human kind. If you get caught in the act, be sure to have the phone number of a good lawyer just in case you get arrested.
